Tenacious D are not only funny they also rock hard and make epic tunes. Their lyrics might be a bit stupid but the songs are constructed beautifully. Take Tribute and The Metal, both songs are worthy of being classed as hard rock masterpieces in my opinion.
Beelzeboss is among the songs I play when I'm in a 'everything must be metal' mood.
