This is one of the best games ever I'd say, thanks to the massive scale of the map and there's never been a better game for sea battles as far as I'm concerned. If this game had a HQ like the homestead (one you need to build up rather than just upgrade) it would be my favourite. This is the pirate game everyone was waiting for when the Pirates of the Caribbean game we were promised never happened. Edward Kenway is pretty damn cool as a pirate and an Assassin. I thought the Assassin gear wouldn't look right on a pirate but it goes well.
The rest of the pirates in this look the part too, don't think there's one that I don't like their look.
I strongly recommend playing the whole series but you could play this one without the others easily, it's highlights are definitely the sea battles and the interaction with other pirates.
