Assassin's Creed 3

I'm going to be a bit controversial here, Assassin's Creed 3 is my current favourite in the series. It's my favourite for many reasons. The first is the setting, love the look of America in the snow and it's mega fun fighting on the American side of the American Revolution. It's also fantastic to see colonial New York and Boston. Another great thing about this game is getting to play as the main character's father, showing the events leading up to him being born. Haytham Kenway looks pretty bad-ass too in his colonial military gear.

The main character, Ratonhnhaké:ton (better known as Connor) is pretty bad-ass too, being the most skilled of Assassins to date. He's also half Mohawk so he has a native american twist to his armour as well as an awesome tomahawk.

The reason this game beats Black Flag is the Davenport Homestead. I loved building this place up from a run down mansion to a thriving and bustling town, complete with church, inn and it's own flag. I hope Rouge and Unity keep the upgradable hq.

The DLC for this was amazing too, it was like a cross between Assassin's Creed 3 and Far Cry. The Tyranny of King Washington is an alternative history where George Washington is corrupted by power and becomes a dictator.

I love the new look for Connor too, he becomes more spirit warrior than Assassin in this and has new, more bad-ass powers as well as a more Native American outfit and warpaint.

I haven't played Rouge or Unity yet so I'm not including them in this but this is my favourite Assassin's Creed to date.
