This game introduced another of my favourite parts of the series: the ability to recruit more Assassins. There's not much more satisfying than walking slowly towards a group of guards that have spotted you, whistling and causing a hail of arrows to silently take down all the enemies at once without breaking stride and being past the guards before the first has even fallen down. This game also introduced the multi-player aspect of Assassin's Creed games. I've never cared about multi-player in any game and tend to avoid any game that has no option to play it yourself. I don't know what it is but there's something better looking about Ezio's armour in this than in Assassin's Creed 2.
This game definitely ups Ezio's cool factor.
