Just watched the first Dr Who episode with Peter Capaldi, Deep Breath it would appear that he's going to be a pretty damn good Doctor. I'm not 100% on his theme tune though, probably just need to get used to it since it's new. Also hate the cogs at the beginning of the title sequence but that is only the title sequence, I can picture some Dr Who nerds going mental over it though. The only proper criticizations I have is of the cartoon style falling and cartoonish sound effects, I really hope they are only for his transition into the new face and that dinosaur was too damn big, it better have been an alien dinosaur. Everything else was pretty good though, it was a good start to a new season.
Jenna Coleman as Clara is probably the hottest and coolest of all the companions, I think she is anyway.
We have the return of the Paternoster Gang, which is great for comedy, especially Strax.
Madame Vastra and Jenny Flint look bad ass too.
Jenny is also pretty hot as she is played by Catrin Stewart.
Dr Who can't be Dr Who without a decent bad guy and the Half-Face Man is pretty decent and appropriately creepy.
