Due to me being a teenager when this came out I was under the illusion that it was decades since the last Jurassic Park and that I was a 'grown up' that knew better (I didn't). I was still excited about this movie and although it didn't live up to Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III was still a great movie. It really moved me to hear the original theme tune too and as long as Jurassic World uses at least a variation of this it will probably go down as one of my favourite movies. The whole setup was great though I personally would have preferred for life to find a way on the original island, it did show the Spinosaurus swimming off the coast after all.
Again I loved the Dino Crisis feel to this movie and now the game had actually been out. One of the best things about this was the return of Dr. Grant played by Sam Neill, this was probably the biggest factor other than it being a Jurassic Park movie that made me want to see this.
Complete with his iconic hat.
One thing everybody loved about the Jurassic Park movies was the way the dinosaurs looked and sounded and although I didn't think there was a need for something bigger than a T-Rex, the Spinosaurus was no different and looked pretty cool.
Unlike the last two I was well into my teens when this movie came out so Téa Leoni was definitely on my radar. I think this was the first film I noticed her in.
