Just like all the Avengers timeline movies the casting of Thor was perfect, it's like these actors were bred to play these heroes. This is one of the comics I know less about though so I can't comment on how close the movie characters look to the comic ones other than Thor himself and other than never wearing the helmet he's spot on. It's not the 90s, there's no need to put everyone in black leather (I'm talking about the X-Men here).
Loki also looks fantastic and he must be one of the best baddies every to exist in film or television played by one of the best actors around at the moment; Tom Hiddleston.
I know this is from the second movie.
We can't forget the three stunning women in this movie:
the 'gorgeous even when bald' Natalie Portman
the 'it's not just her breasts that look fantastic' Kat Dennings
and the 'holy crap she's fit' Jaimie Alexander.
King Laufey and the Frost Giants look awesome in this too and I'd love to see more of them in live action for any reason at all.
